Hard Rock Cafe Penang
Located along the tourist strip of Batu Ferringhi, the hotel is an oustanding sight to behold with contemporary architectural design and layout. It is the first Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia. Lebuh Leith Pub and Wine Bar
The pub 20 Leith Street, named after it own address, is across from cathay hotel. This nightspot has ample parking space, food stalls and an outdoor beer garden. The bar and dafts room are inside the charming 1931 colonial manion. A deejay spins records from 9 pm nightly and there is a small dance floor.

Hong Kong Bar
Extremely popular with the RAF/RAAF personnel when they were stationed in Penang and every visitor seemed to have left a momento there, including their photographs. the bar is stacked to the ceiling with plaques, badges, lifebuoys etc etc and there are piles of photo albums. the fighting men are gone now but the bar lives on
